Oasis At first glance, the island of Kashou seem lifeless and black. The ash covers everything up. But, if you travel past the harsh edges, there is an oasis with pure water and green foliage. It is hidden well, underground. What fuels this oasis? A small river travels underground, through caves. There is sand, and soil, providing a place for plants to grow.
