The young female Amur leopard stalked quiety long the grass on the side of the waterfall. She had a craving for her darkside to come out even though it wasn't nessecary. She decided to just be herself, well her lightself anyway. Ziara sat for a moment. She gave it some thought and decided that it would be best to eat before se made her next move. Moving her leg muscles and then getting to her forelegs she now stood on all ou legs. Her tail lashed with hunting urge. The leopardess began to pick up speed into a trot and let her nose inhale in allthe scets around. " Nothing " she purred queitly. Ziara continued on to search for her prey. As she head toward some bushes a rat suddenly darted out! Zira aughed and went on.Prey tat sie wasnt nearly enough for her.

The leopardess's hunt wasn't going to her satisfaction. She only saw a rat and it wasn't even wholesome enough to fed a kit. With a sigh she yowled out her displeasure. Ssssshhhhh!! The rustle of some bushes behind her caught her attention. With eagerness she sniffed and what did her nose find? A rabbit! Ziara froze as she saw it jump out and toward the waterfall. " Don't think so " she hissed softly and she darted off in persuit of the rabbit. The leopardess was on it's furry little tail! Bunching he leg muscles and leaopin into the ir like a bird she landed infront of the rabbit nd swiped it withher now extracted claws. The little brownish creature sqwilled in pain, Ziara quickly crunched it between her strong jaws. The blood flowed through her mouth like a rushing river. Her mission was now accomplished.

The Amur Leopardess carried her daily kill the edge of the waterfll. She bent her head to lap up the crisp loking water. She began drinking, but she stopped inbetween an noticed caves behind the flow. Looks like I've got something else to do " she purred delighted. Her darkside was blooming out. Ziara began eating her kill, preparing to go into the waterfall caves.

silence. it was too silent.

Everything was too peaceful, too silent. Life was too easy. It was too luxurious. Something was wrong. Something wasn't right. Morgoth could be planning his attack while she sat around listening to nothing. Oh, but silence was so deafening. She no longer heard the roar of the majestic cascade, echoing throughout the tunnels and caves. She couldn't stand tranquility, if made her twist and turn, knowing she should be doing something. But what? Why did everything have to be so unclear? What could she do? Nothing. The fae felt so helpless, so alone. She had Faolan, her love, but no one else had shattered the silence to the ground.

Everything slowed down. Oh no, not another one of these. Flashbacks, she hated them. Her heart beat faster and faster, she knew where she was. Before the man cages, before all of those wretched 'zoos'. She was in a stone ruin, in a small room. It was dark, for there were no windows. There was a huge stone 'door' blocking the exit. There was no hope of escape. The young leopard curled up in one corner, tears swelling in her eyes. Finally, she let them go. They streamed down her face and dropped to the stone ground. Drip. Drop. Drip Drop. It was like the sound of the last raindrops, draining the cloud dry. There was a deafening sound of scraping as the stone door move, allowing light to flow into the prison. Her eyes burned at the sight of it, but she never got a chance to get used to it. Two burly leopards came to her and dragged Ashira out of the room. She lay limp in their grasp, knowing it was a waste of time to fight. The leopard was thrown to Morgoth's paws as he cackled insanely.

Her crystal dagger fell to the floor, bringing reality back to her tired mind. She winced, ready to hear it shatter as it hit the floor. Clink. Sighing with relief she bent to pick it up, slipping it around her neck. In a way, she almost wanted it to be gone, to be shattered. But all the memories, good and bad, were trapped inside the crystal. She couldn't let them be free, to torture and torment the world as they had her.

She looked up, and the scent of another flowed into her nares. Hmm? Another one? That was...good. But would she lead these innocent leopards to their death in battle? No. She couldn't. they would win. Even if she died. Sighing, Ashira walked out, showing herself and staring at the leopard.

"What is your business here?"
