Plot:
When the Earth was young, Mother Earth walked the world. Everything she touched brought more life to the new Earth. It was spring when an arrow pierced her heart. A native had shot at a deer, but the stag had moved and the arrow had hit her instead. As she lay dying on the ground she grasped onto an acorn and told the stag to spread the word of her death, but to also say she would live on in that seed. When she passed her soul was cast into the acorn. The deer pressed it into the damp earth and from that spot rose a magnificent oak tree called the Tree of Life.
Through the tree, Mother Nature could still replenish the Earth and continue to bring life all over the world. Yet, the real power comes from the tree itself. A nibble of a leaf can alleviate an illness and a drop of sap can heal a wound. The tree also gives another gift…eternal life. By ingesting one of the four acorns produced each year an animal will be alive forever….until the end of the world. The only way to die after eating an acorn from the Tree of Life is by an arrow to the heart.
Centuries have since past. It is the early 1600’s and people have started to inhabit the shores. These settlers have come with little respect for the North American forest. They are here to claim land and to begin a civilization. They cut down the giant trees for lumber and strip the lands. The settlers are hunting down animals for entertainment in addition. They are also here seeking something other than new lands…they are here for the fountain of youth. Such a fountain does not exist and they are not aware of the Tree of Life that grows deep in the forest.
The tree is in danger now. If the Europeans find the tree and discover its values they will destroy it in their greed. It requires predator and prey to work together and enemies to ignore their differences.

Plot:
What if...we lived in a world where animals owned people?
Humans is set in modern day life here on Earth though the places and characters are to remain fictional. This earth is unlike the one we live on. The world is dominated by humanized-animals and humans are the basis of their survival. They depend on their enslavement of mankind to prosper. People are their equivalent of pets to some, but not for all the animals.
Many animals for generations have kept humans locked away in their Cages. They only come out to work the fields or do hard labor that some animals can not do on their own. They also use humans in events. The most popular events include fighting, showing, and agility among other things. Humans are bought, sold, and bred. The ideal one is an average height male with a strong build, brown hair, and brown eyes. Females are not as athletic or strong and usually end up being kept around for cleaning. Some, however, are killed at birth leaving the male to female ratio at 3:1.
People are raised in situations they do not learn about the world. Being caged and working from a young age are what they know. Yet, some of them have learned without socialization and teaching. Some have escaped in the past and now a growing group they called the Rebellion is seeking out to end the enslavement of mankind and to live in a world where animals and humans can coexist equally.
In addition, a handful of animals disagree with the harsh live's people are living. Some of these animals, that remain anonymous, are helping people escape. They are leading these escapees to the Rebellions to be taught the ways of man and the way life should be.
